CARING FOR YOUR ORCHIDS

Shipped fresh from our farms, your bulk orchids arrive fully hydrated and ready for display. There is no need for advance blooming time; simply follow the care instructions below to maintain their beauty and longevity.

Flower Care Steps – From Arrival to Arrangement

Step 1: Inspect

Carefully inspect orchids upon arrival.
If your stems are in water tubes: Keep the tubes attached. Monitor the water levels and refill if necessary. There is no need to remove the tubes until you are ready to arrange. Store orchids in original packaging in a warmer part of the cooler until ready to design.
If your stems arrived without water tubes: Proceed directly to Step 2.

Step 2: Prepare Your Containers

Use a clean, sanitized vase to prevent bacterial growth. Fill it with at least 4 inches of cool, fresh water. Ensure the water level is high enough to hydrate the stems, but keep the blooms above the water line.

Step 3: Trim and Place in Water

Using sharp, clean shears or scissors, cut about 1/4 inch off the bottom of each stem at a diagonal angle—ideally while the stems are held under cool, running water. Immediately place the stems into your prepared vase.

Step 4: Hydrate and Maintain

Orchids thrive in stable, cool environments (ideally around 65°F / 18°C).
Keep them away from direct sunlight, drafts, and excess heat.
Maintenance: Refresh the water and trim the stems every 24 hours.
Grooming: Orchids bloom from the top down. It is natural for the lower, older blooms to fade first. Remove them gently as needed to keep your arrangement looking pristine.

Step 5: Time to Design

Your orchids arrive in bloom and are ready for immediate use. Let your creativity run wild and have fun.
